WWE’s Tiffany Stratton Makes A Confession: “It Was So Brutal On My Body”
Tiffany Stratton recently shared something many fans may not have known about her.
Stratton returned to WWE in January by entering the women’s Royal Rumble Match at the eponymous PLE after a short hiatus.
She was out of action after dropping the WWE Women’s Title to Jade Cargill in November 2025.
Stratton has since been in contention for the gold, qualifying for the Elimination Chamber bout that she eventually lost, with Rhea Ripley emerging as the winner to face Cargill for her title at WrestleMania 42.
She recently appeared on the Nikki and Brie show and shared stories about her gymnastics background when she was a child and her struggles with Rheumatoid Arthritis.
WWE Star Tiffany Stratton Was In Gymnastics Despite Having Rheumatoid Arthritis
Gymnastics is already a challenging sport, and it became a lot more challenging for Stratton as she was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis at a young age.
In the interview with the Bella Twins, Stratton talks about how she had to work through the pain to scale levels in gymnastics and says that it was more painful than wrestling, even though wrestling has been tough on her body.
So immediately, I had my dad sign me up (for gymnastics) — my mom and my dad, and I’m somebody who I can catch onto things really, really fast… I think you had to start at level six and then you had to work your way up so I started at level six and I competed and I won and I got to go to the next level, to the next level, to the next level, until I was a level 10 gymnast…
I had so many nagging injuries. I don’t think you guys understand. It was so brutal on my body. So is wrestling but not in the way that gymnastics was. I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis as a little girl… I always had so much grit in me to just pound it out and no matter how much pain I felt, I still was just gonna be giving it my all in gymnastics.
