Massive Spoiler On WWE’s Future If CM Punk Retains His Title At WrestleMania 42
CM Punk is scheduled to put his World Heavyweight Championship on the line against the 2026 Men’s Royal Rumble winner, Roman Reigns.
Just a few days ahead of his WrestleMania showdown with The Original Tribal Chief, Punk sat down for an exclusive interview with Corey Graves, where he was asked how the future in WWE might look if he retains his title at WrestleMania 42.
Punk replied that if he defeats Roman Reigns to retain his title at the Showcase of the Immortals this year, he will continue to be a fighting champion. He promised to show up every week and do his best to lead the locker room by example.
You have a fighting champion. You have somebody that will be here every week to do his best to lead by example, to sit in catering and eat with the boys, to sit in the locker room, male talent, to try to abolish this culture that has been cultivated backstage of private jets and personal locker rooms, and buses, and hiding spots because you are afraid to show your face.
I don’t understand what this place looks like sometimes, but I know my instincts, and I know pro wrestling, and I know what it looks like when there’s a fighting champion, and there’s somebody who cares and believes. And that’s what you’re gonna get when CM Punk wins at WrestleMania. (9:45 – 10:30)

CM Punk Says Roman Reigns Must Show Up More for WWE Fans
During his chat with Corey Graves, CM Punk once again called out Roman Reigns for his light schedule, claiming that it is Reigns’ responsibility as a top WWE Superstar to show up every week for his fans.
I think anybody would be a fool to not look at Roman and respect the fact that he puts his family above everything else. I love that. I love the fact that he can say, my kids will never know what not having their father around is like, ’cause he did that with Sika, his cousins with Rikishi and countless other of the Samoan greats. And I think that’s great. He has his priorities and they’re right.
But it’s real hard to sit back and look at a man who will do that and be a part-timer and think that that’s okay. Because there is a responsibility that comes not only with being a WWE superstar, with being a champion, this is about pro wrestling versus cinema.
