WWE WrestleMania Star Signs New Deal

Judgment Day WWE WrestleMania

Drew McIntyre wasn’t the only man to win and lose a title at WrestleMania 40 and now the other star that did so has confirmed their re-signed to WWE.

Night one of WrestleMania saw a wild ladder match take place as WWE split the tag team titles in half once again. Damian Priest and Finn Balor of The Judgment Day held both sets of titles heading into the event but they left that match empty-handed.

A-Town Down Under managed to secure the SmackDown Tag Team Championship while R-Truth got the ultimate revenge on The Judgment Day as he and The Miz secured the Raw Tag Team Title.

However, one night later, Damian Priest seized the moment after Drew McIntyre was attacked by CM Punk just moments after the Scottish star won the World Heavyweight Championship from Seth Rollins. Priest cashed in his Money In The Bank contract and nailed McIntyre with his South of Heaven chokeslam to win the title for himself.

This has been already a great year for me. New contract, new title, new theme song, voiced by yours truly. Judgment Day’s on fire.

Damian Priest joined WWE in 2018 following a spell in Ring of Honor. After spending three years on the NXT roster, he graduated to WWE’s main roster in 2021.
