WWE are reportedly keen on bringing back another former talent to the company.

Following the successful return of Kairi Sane at Crown Jewel on November 4th, Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp is reporting that WWE are keen to bring Sarray back to their roster.

Sarray originally joined WWE in February 2020 but her debut in the company was delayed for a year due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. The Tokyo-born Superstar would eventually make her in-ring debut for WWE on the 20th April 2021 edition of NXT, defeating Zoey Stark and remained undefeated until a loss to Dakota Kai on August 10th 2021.

The Japanese star would remain a fixture of NXT television in the following months but chose to depart WWE at the end of her contract, losing to then-NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose on the August 2nd 2022 edition of NXT.

Sarray, who is known as Sareee in Japan, made her in-ring return at an independent show entitled Sareee-ISM in May 2023 in a losing effort against Chihiro Hashimoto in the shows main event. Despite recent success in Japan it would now seem that a return to the US for Sarray could be imminent.

Kairi Sane Makes Shock WWE Return At Crown Jewel

Should Sarray return to WWE she would hope to make waves as big as compatriot Kairi Sane, who made her presence felt as IYO SKY retained the WWE Women’s Championship at Crown Jewel.

The returning Superstar looks set to be central to a major storyline involving Damage CTRL, with leader Bayley looking shocked at the 35 year-old’s return to aid IYO SKY.

An attack by Bayley on the July 2020 edition of WWE Raw was the storyline reason for Sane’s departure from the company.
