wwe women's royal rumble 2026

WWE’s Road to WrestleMania kicked off tonight as the promotion hosted the 2026 edition of the Royal Rumble in the Saudi Arabian capital, Riyadh. The show emanated live from the Riyadh Season Stadium at the King Abdullah Financial District.

The night was scheduled to feature a variety of matches, with two Royal Rumbles on either side of the singles matches. The singles matches would see Drew McIntyre defend his Undisputed WWE Championship against Sami Zayn, while AJ Styles puts his career on the line against Gunther.

The night began with the Women’s Royal Rumble event as 30 women competed for a shot at either of the World Championships at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.

Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss kicked off the WWE Royal Rumble

The Queen and last year’s winner, Charlotte Flair, came out as the first entrant of the Women’s Royal Rumble and were joined by Alexa Bliss in the ring as her tag team partner came out in the second spot.

Bliss and Flair came head-to-head in the ring but didn’t get physical with each other. They waited in the ring and proceeded to taunt each other with their finishers, but didn’t hit each other.

They were then joined in the ring by Kiana James and Nia Jax as they made their way to the ring at numbers three and four, respectively.
