This WWE Veteran slammed Triple H and his creative team for making this new star look bad.

Sol Ruca is one of WWE’s latest entries into the main roster from NXT. She debuted at the Royal Rumble and was one of the three finalists, lasting almost the entirety of the gimmick match after coming in at number 10.

Her impressive performance won over many fans, and Ruca was already a popular star in NXT. The Former NXT Speed Champion and Women’s North American Champion squared off against Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan on the Raw after WrestleMania 42. Morgan barely escaped with a win after Ruca was put down by NXT star Zaria, who interfered in the match.

Last week on Raw, Sol officially signed a contract and was announced as Raw’s newest signing. She was then interrupted by Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch, who received a Sol Snatcher, Ruca’s viral finishing move, for her actions.

This past Monday on Raw, IYO SKY wrestled Sol Ruca. Fresh off her match against Asuka at Backlash on May 9th, which SKY won, she continued her winning streak and defeated Ruca by countering the Sol Snatcher and putting her in a pinning combination. The two hugged it out after their bout and did so once again later backstage.

WWE Veteran Tommy Carlucci believes this loss does nothing good for Sol Ruca’s character, and he discussed it with co-host Gabby on Johnathan Coachman’s channel, Behind The Turnbuckle Studios.

WWE Veteran Tommy Carlucci Says Sol Ruca Was Made A Fool Out Of Backstage

Carlucci had some strong criticisms of Sol Ruca’s recent treatment in WWE that he shared on The Last Word, a show on Coachman’s YouTube channel.

The WWE veteran believes that, logically, a new character shouldn’t be happy about losing and should be angry instead. Carlucci and Gabby both believe that Ruca was done dirty by the creative team after being presented as a weak contender for Becky Lynch’s Women’s Intercontinental Title and shown as vulnerable with her recent losses.

That doesn’t build character. It made her look like an idiot. If anything, it lowered her characterization that she’s not even close to being equal with Becky or even getting a match. You lose to IYO SKY and you’re smiling. If I’m a young guy and I’m a new character, I am not smiling. I’m p*ssed off about the whole thing.

Carlucci then alluded to the backstage segment with SKY, where the two hugged it out, allowing Becky Lynch to have the upper hand in the new rivalry.

And then they made a fool out of her backstage. Made her look like a big jabroni sitting there like this. And Becky just ripped on her and that was it. So, how am I supposed to believe in Sol Ruca when you put this big package on, you did a contract signing with her?

They don’t do that a lot with a lot of superstars. They did it with her and then you do nothing. Again, what we said
in the beginning, build characters week by week by week. You know what they did with her? They put her down. (6:57 onwards)
