With the Endeavor takeover of WWE getting ever closer to completion, a name has now been revealed – albeit a temporary one – for the company which will oversee both it and UFC.

The wrestling world changed forever on the 3rd of April 2023 when it was announced that Vince McMahon and WWE had agreed on a deal to be acquired by Endeavor and merged under a new company umbrella alongside UFC.

McMahon will become Executive Chairman of the new parent company while WWE CEO Nick Khan will become President of the sports entertainment giant in a move that mirrors Dana White’s role in UFC.

In a filing made to the SEC, the new parent company’s name is revealed to be New Whale Inc. although it is noted that this name is expected to be changed when the takeover by Endeavor is finalized:

“*The registrant is currently named New Whale Inc. The registrant plans to change its name to “[ ]” following the effective date of this registration statement and completion of the transactions described therein.”

It is also confirmed in the filing that New Whale Inc.’s board will comprise eleven individuals with five coming from WWE, including two from the management team, and six coming from Endeavor with three coming from the company’s management team. Both Vince McMahon and Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel will be among the board members.
