WWE’s Tiffany Stratton Has Marvel Aspirations
Tiffany Stratton believes she has a character that would be a perfect fit for the Marvel Universe.
The Marvel franchise has produced numerous movies that have been massive successes, with billions of dollars made at the box office. Fans of Marvel love seeing comic book characters come to life on the big screen.
Many WWE fans think of the characters they watch in the ring as superheroes, too, so it’s not a surprise when the WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton mentions Marvel in an interview.
During an Instagram Live session on WWE Deutschland, Tiffany Stratton was asked what movie franchise she would like to be a part of. Stratton mentioned Marvel and even has a character idea for it.
“I would love to be a part of the Marvel franchise and have my own superhero called Buff Barbie. Because I feel like I’ve been kind of calling myself (that) since before wrestling and I feel like there’s a lot of different things you can do with it, you know?
A badass, blonde, buff girl that looks like a Barbie doll, kicking ass and taking names. I think that’s such a cool concept for a Marvel movie.”
Tiffany Stratton Had Nerves Going Into WWE Evolution
As the WWE Women’s Champion for over six months, Tiffany Stratton has beaten some big names like Charlotte Flair and Nia Jax. At Evolution, Stratton won her generational matchup against Hall of Famer Trish Stratus as well. Stratton revealed that she was very nervous before the match.
“Oh, that whole weekend, I was so nervous. Obviously, Trish Stratus, she is the GOAT. She’s one of the greatest of all time, and you know, I’ve beat what you could argue (is) a current GOAT, Charlotte Flair. So, I had the confidence going into this that I had beat Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania and then I had just beat Nia Jax a couple of weeks ago in Saudi Arabia so going into that, I had some confidence.
However, Trish Stratus, she’s one of the greatest of all time and she’s a generational talent so, going into this, I wanted to have fun, but I also wanted to show Trish I’m not someone you can just mess with. I’m the next GOAT, I am becoming the GOAT of GOATS so, once I beat her, it was just such a surreal moment.
That crowd was amazing at Evolution. I can’t believe the audience there. They were behind every single match, they were so supportive. All in all, that day was just so fun and it was amazing.”
The next WWE Women’s Title defense for Tiffany Stratton will come at SummerSlam when she faces the Queen of the Ring, Jade Cargill. Many people believe it is Cargill’s time to win her first singles title in WWE, so Stratton will try to prove the doubters wrong again.
