Upcoming WWE Taping Relocated For Strange Reason
An upcoming WWE taping will not take place as scheduled.
The WWE NXT brand usually airs its live shows on Tuesday nights at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, but it also sometimes ventures on the road.
While NXT hasn’t been on the road yet in 2026, they have been promoting a February 24th event at Center Stage in Atlanta, which takes place one night after Raw is in Atlanta.
However, it has been reported by PWInsider’s Mike Johnson that NXT at Center Stage in Atlanta won’t happen as scheduled. Johnson reports that the February 24th NXT episode will move back to the WWE PC in Orlando.
The reason for the change is because a permitting issue locally in Atlanta. What that means is “WWE production trucks had traditionally taken up residence in a parking lot next to Center Stage when they used the venue, but that parking area has been sold off.” That makes it a lot more difficult to mount the broadcast position.
An official announcement by WWE is likely coming within the next few days.
NXT Champion Joe Hendry Turned Down WWE Earlier In His Career
Joe Hendry became the WWE NXT Champion on February 3rd by winning a 7-man Ladder Match. After having success in TNA that included a run as the company’s World Champion in 2025, Hendry officially joined WWE in late 2025, and now he’s a key part of the NXT brand.
In a recent interview with Metro UK, Hendry revealed WWE wanted to sign him about ten years before he joined the company, but he didn’t feel he was ready for it.
That conversation with William Regal was probably one of the most important moments in my career. I’ve never spoken about that before
I can remember most of that conversation, and it’s really guided a lot of my decisions in the professional wrestling business.
There are things we can talk about, things we can’t talk about. I personally don’t think I was ready to be in WWE at that point. I felt I needed to travel the world to get the skills required to perform in WWE at the highest level, and discover who I was as a performer.
Regarding the first NXT PLE of the year, it has been reported that Vengeance Day will likely take place on March 7th, even though it’s been a February event around Valentine’s Day in past years.
