WWE Star’s In-Ring Return Teased After 5 Years
WWE has apparently teased a top star’s return to the ring after 5 years. The star in question is RAW General Manager Adam Pearce.
Pearce’s last official match took place on January 3, 2021 episode of Monday Night Raw. On that night, he teamed with Braun Strowman in a Raw Tag Team Championship match against The Hurt Business (Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin).
WWE 2K26 is officially scheduled for worldwide release on March 13, 2026, with early access beginning on March 6, 2026, for special editions such as the Attitude Era, Monday Night War, and King of Kings versions. As anticipation continues to build, new details about playable characters and presentation features have started to surface.
WWE 2K26 Introduces Playable Adam Pearce In Ring Character
One of the more surprising inclusions is Adam Pearce. His new playable version pays tribute to his earlier in-ring career. Pearce’s character comes equipped with his classic Ring of Honor entrance theme and his signature robe from his “Scrap Daddy” days, offering longtime fans a nostalgic throwback to his pre-WWE run.
In recent weeks, Pearce has also been featured more prominently on Raw, where he has found himself at odds with Paul Heyman and The Vision. These on-screen tensions have sparked speculation among fans that his inclusion as a playable character in WWE 2K26 could be connected to a potential return to the ring.

Adam himself teased an in-ring return recently with a cryptic post on social media. However, renowned wrestling journalists like Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer and Ibou of Self Made have stated that Pearce is not making a return to the ring. But never say never in wrestling, right?
