WWE Star Teases In-Ring Return After 5 Years
A major WWE star has teased a potential return to in-ring action, and the name may come as a surprise. The star in question is none other than WWE Raw General Manager Adam Pearce.
It has been nearly five years since Pearce last competed inside a WWE ring. His last match took place on the March 1, 2021, episode of Monday Night Raw where he teamed with Braun Strowman in a losing effort against Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin of The Hurt Business for the Raw Tag Team Championships. Before transitioning into an on-screen authority role, Pearce was a popular competitor on the independent circuit throughout the mid-2010s.
Pearce oversees the entire Raw brand and is currently involved in a compelling storyline with The Vision. Tensions have escalated in recent weeks, particularly after Bron Breakker threatened to “kill him.” It happened on Raw a few weeks ago, when he interfered in a tag team match featuring The Vision against Penta and Dragon Lee, attacking the babyfaces and plunging the match into chaos.
The situation prompted Pearce to confront Breakker in the ring. However, the confrontation turned physical when Breakker put his hands on the Raw General Manager. In response, Pearce suspended Breakker indefinitely from Monday Night Raw.
Following the suspension, Paul Heyman began targeting Pearce, ominously warning that his actions would lead to serious consequences. Last week, Pearce revealed that a phone call, apparently arranged by Heyman pulling strings behind the scenes, led him to reverse his decision.
On this week’s episode of Raw, Pearce officially lifted Breakker’s suspension. Surprisingly, Pearce even apologized to Breakker for initiating physical contact and announced Breakker’s entry into the Royal Rumble. Not only that, Pearce confirmed that all members of The Vision have been added to the Royal Rumble match, set to take place on January 31 in Saudi Arabia.
Is WWE RAW GM Adam Pearce Preparing For An In-Ring Comeback?
With tensions continuing to rise, Pearce’s ongoing conflict with The Vision has sparked speculation that the Raw General Manager may not be finished inside the ring just yet. To add fuel to the fire, Pearce recently posted a cryptic Instagram post hinting at a return to the ring. Check out his post below.
