WWE Star To Make In-Ring Return After 5 Years At WrestleMania?
WrestleMania 42 is shaping up to be one of the biggest events in WWE history, and fans are wondering if a WWE star might finally make an in-ring return at this year’s Grandest Stage of Them All.
WWE Raw General Manager Adam Pearce is currently in a rivalry with The Vision. The latest development in this storyline took place at the Royal Rumble, when a mystery attacker ambushed Bron Breaker during the Men’s Royal Rumble match.
Following the incident, Paul Heyman blamed Adam Pearce, accusing the Raw GM of having a major hand in orchestrating the attack on Breaker. Tensions escalated even further on the following episode of Monday Night Raw, where Pearce openly taunted Bron Breaker for his failure at the Royal Rumble.
With WWE clearly brewing a bitter rivalry between Adam Pearce and Bron Breaker, along with Paul Heyman looming in the background, fans have begun speculating whether Pearce could step back into the ring.
Many even questioned whether Pearce himself was the masked attacker at the Royal Rumble and whether this storyline could lead to a one-on-one match between Pearce and Breaker at WrestleMania.
However, despite the buzz online, that scenario appears unlikely. According to Ibou of Self Made, Adam Pearce making his in-ring return at WrestleMania 42 is “not happening.”
No but that’s also not happening

Pearce last wrestled in WWE five years ago in a March 2021 episode of Monday Night Raw. He teamed up with Braun Strowman in a losing effort against The Hurt Business (Cedric Alexander & Shelton Benjamin).
WWE Star Bron Breakker Was Originally Planned To Win Royal Rumble
A recent report from Wrestling Observer Newsletter’s Dave Meltzer revealed that WWE’s original plan was for Bron Breakker to win the 2026 Royal Rumble and challenge CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship, with Roman Reigns facing Cody Rhodes at Mania 42.
Those plans were later scrapped, as Triple H reportedly did not want to run Reigns vs. Rhodes for a third time in four years, ultimately leading to Roman Reigns winning the Royal Rumble and challenging CM Punk.
