WWE Star’s Favorite Royal Rumble Moment Came At Triple H’s Expense
This WWE Icon has had his fair share of great Royal Rumble Moments, and he recently named his top 5.
The Royal Rumble is a historic WWE Premium Live Event (PLE) that features 30 wrestlers fighting in an over-the-top battle royal, where the winner is the last man standing after 29 other wrestlers have been thrown out of the ring off the top rope.
WWE star Randy Orton has been in the prestigious Rumble match many times and has won it twice in his illustrious career. The Viper won in 2009 at the peak of his popularity after entering at #8 and last eliminating Triple H to win.
He also won the 2017 Rumble match, entering at #23 and last eliminating Roman Reigns to secure the victory.
WWE Icon Randy Orton Names His Top 5 Royal Rumble Moments
In the build-up to Royal Rumble 2026 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, a Saudi-based X Accuont called WWE Mena shared a video of Orton talking about his favourite Royal Rumble moments of all time.
In the video, the WWE Icon shares moments such as Edge’s shock return at the 2020 Royal Rumble after nearly 9 years of being out due to neck injuries, Hacksaw Jim Duggan winning the first ever version of the gimmick match, and Orton’s own appearances in the Rumble matches over the years where he would execute perfect RKOs out of nowhere and get a pop from the crowd, as being some of his favourite.
However, his top 2 moments are both his Royal Rumble match victories, with the 2017 win taking second place, and his #1 favourite moment being him eliminating Triple H to win the 2009 Royal Rumble and later going on to feud with him till WrestleMania.

Orton will also be part of the 2026 Royal Rumble match coming up on January 31st.
