This WWE star reacts to Brock Lesnar’s sudden retirement at WrestleMania 42.

Brock Lesnar has had an illustrious career in WWE. The Beast Incarnate debuted in 2002 and was billed as The Next Big Thing. In his first 24 months with the company, Lesnar went on to win the WWE Championship three times and had high-profile feuds with stars such as Kurt Angle, The Undertaker, Eddie Guerrero, and many more legendary WWE superstars.

His second run with WWE, which began in 2012, was filled with major accolades, including seven more WWE World Title reigns. His victory over The Undertaker at WrestleMania 30 ended the Deadman’s famed WrestleMania streak and is especially notable.

Lesnar has been with WWE as a part-timer over the past few years and had wrestled only sporadically in 2025 and 2026 until Oba Femi accepted his open challenge for WrestleMania 42.

The match itself was a short one, and Lesnar’s offense didn’t do much to derail Femi, and eventually, The Ruler put away the beast with a chokeslam and a Fall From Grace. The shocking moment of the evening, though, came a little later when Lesnar was seen taking off his gloves and boots and leaving them in the ring, signalling retirement.

WWE Star Logan Paul Reacts To Lesnar’s Retirement Gesture

WWE star Logan Paul can be seen watching WrestleMania 42 night 2 live and reacting to it in a recent vlog video on his YouTube channel.

Paul can be seen screaming at his phone’s screen, begging Lesnar not to retire, as Paul wished to have a match with the WWE Icon.

Brock Lesnar’s retiring right now. No way.

Brother No! I don’t get my Brock match, bro. Stop! Cut that sh*t out, brother!

Paul even tells Paul Heyman (the manager of The Vision faction that Paul is in) to pick up Lesnar’s boots because he wants them as a collectible.

Nah, no way. Bro Paul Heyman, grab his shoes! Grab his shoes, I want them as a collectible, Paul. (2:26 onwards)

Paul has previously stated on his IMPAULSIVE podcast that it was an honor to get sent to Suplex City by Lesnar during the Royal Rumble match. Even though Brock Lesnar’s retirement seems like it’s confirmed, there are reports that he may return for one final match at SummerSlam this year, which is slated to take place in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where Brock went to University and where his wrestling character is also billed from.

Logan Paul is currently one half of the World Tag Team Champions along with his factionmate Austin Theory.
