This WWE star doesn’t have much left to do in the company, says WWE legend

The Judgement Day faction has expanded and changed since its inception in 2022, but one original member remains, Finn Balor.

The Irishman has not had much action over the past few months, except for going after CM Punk’s World Heavyweight Championship after being blasted by faction-mate Liv Morgan backstage for being lazy and playing video games a few weeks ago on Raw.

Punk, who is a fighting champion, answered Balor’s challenge, and the two locked horns for the title on Raw in Balor’s home country of Ireland. Balor lost the bout clean, and Punk retained.

This past week on Raw, CM Punk wrestled AJ Styles for the title ahead of his retirement. The match ended in a no-contest after Balor came out and ambushed CM Punk.

WWE Legend Bully Ray Believes Finn Balor Doesn’t Fit In WWE Anymore

Following Balor’s loss against CM Punk, Bully Ray spoke about him on Busted Open Radio, saying that he isn’t sure how much Balor has left to do in the Stamford-based promotion.

Personally, I don’t know what you do with Finn Balor, the great wrestler. Listen, if you told me you were inventing … the workhorse championship tomorrow, and you were gonna have the Iron Man Championship that’s defended every single week on TV for 15 minute matches, blah, blah, blah, and Finn Balor was gonna be your champion – sold, because that’s a f***ing Iron Man. Other than that, in this huge world of the WWE, I don’t know where he fits.

Bully also said that he would like to see a return of Balor’s Demon persona.

I know that, when Vince was around, the Demon character was only something that came out when Finn Balor couldn’t get the job done, which made Finn look ineffective.

Bully also opined that Balor is merely “good” and not “great” with promo and character work, which could limit what he could accomplish. All that said, Balor’s feud with CM Punk is slated to continue if last week’s Raw is any indication.
