WWE SmackDown Starts With A Bang As Sami Zayn’s Homecoming Ends In Chaos
WWE has officially returned to North America following the conclusion of its European tour, as tonight’s SmackDown was held live at the Bell Center in Montreal, Canada.
The same venue is set to hold tomorrow’s Saturday Night’s Main Event, where the number one contender for the Undisputed WWE Championship will be decided.
Montreal’s own, Sami Zayn, opened the show tonight and addressed the home crowd about his intentions for tomorrow night, where he faces Damian Priest, Trick Williams, and Randy Orton in the number one contender’s match.
Trick Williams attacks Sami Zayn on WWE SmackDown.
Sami’s homecoming was spoiled moments after he opened the show as he was interrupted by the man who attacked him last week, Trick Williams. The two have been locking horns since the first SmackDown of the new year.
Trick claimed that he is on the same level as Zayn, which the former United States champion openly denied. Instead, Zayn challenged Trick to a match if he wanted to test that out, which the former TNA World Champion rejected as he is already scheduled to face Damian Priest.

A huge brawl broke out after Trick hit Zayn in the face with the mic, which led to Priest attacking Williams. Zayn entered the fray, trying to get his hands on Trick, which caused tension between Priest and Zayn, allowing Trick to weasel out of the ring.
