WWE Sign Up Another Indie Talent

Triple H WWE crowd

WWE has reportedly added another up-and-coming indie talent to its roster.

Back in mid-September, WWE held its latest try-outs with three rising stars reportedly offered deals. Jay Malachi, Lucky Ali, and Brogan Finlay are expected to report back to the Performance Center in January after finishing up their existing bookings.

It’s now been reported by PWInsider that independent star Madi Wrenkowski has been at the Performance Center and is believed to have signed a deal to appear in NXT. Wrenkowski is perhaps best known for her run as one-half of the NWA Women’s Tag Team Champions alongside Missa Kate, while she also made numerous appearances on AEW Dark and Dark: Elevation.

WWE Misses Out On Will Ospreay

The news comes after Will Ospreay decided to join AEW despite interest from the sports entertainment giant. While there was little public comment made about the British star, it was widely believed that WWE was highly interested in securing his signature when his NJPW deal expires in February 2024.

Will Ospreay officially signed with AEW at Full Gear.

This marks the second time the company has missed out on a highly-prized NJPW star after Jay White also opted to join AEW in April.

However, WWE recently re-debuted Kairi Sane, and it’s believed they’ve offered a contract to Stardom stand-out Giulia.
