Triple H and Stephanie McMahon’s daughter had some massive plans for her future.
The McMahons are one of the most well-known families in professional wrestling. Vince McMahon served as the chairman of WWE for several years. He helped build the company into the global juggernaut it is today. His son, Shane McMahon, and daughter, Stephanie McMahon, also became onscreen characters over the years.
Stephanie McMahon played a prominent role backstage as well. She was once part of the creative team and rose through the ranks to become co-CEO of the company. However, after Vince McMahon found himself entangled in sexual misconduct allegations, she left the company. However, she occasionally makes on-screen appearances for the company. But it looks like the next generation of the family may pursue a different path from wrestling.
During a recent episode of What’s Your Story? with Stephanie McMahon, the former WWE co-CEO said that her daughter, Aurora, was interested in entering the wrestling business. However, she changed her mind after Vince McMahon’s sexual misconduct allegations emerged. She is now getting her doctorate in PT.
Well, Aurora used to want to (get into the wrestling business), and she even got in the ring with Nattie and Charlotte (Flair). She rolled around a little bit. But then, everything kind of happened with my dad and me leaving and it was an awkward time. Like right in the time that she would’ve really been making her decision so… and not that she couldn’t. She still could, but her mind right now is on getting her Doctorate in PT.” [H/T Fightful]
Becky Lynch admitted to Stephanie McMahon that she is considering having another baby
Becky Lynch is one of the most decorated WWE stars of all time. Outside the ring, she is married to Seth Rollins. They have a daughter named Roux. The Man is enjoying the joys of motherhood, and she is considering having another child.
During the same podcast episode, Becky said that Roux keeps asking her for a sibling, but it’s hard for her to just drop everything.
“Well, no, the eternal battle, like it’s the eternal battle because just so unfair being a woman in this business. It really is so unfair and the process. I just want one to show up on my doorstep. But yeah, like Roux keeps asking for a sibling.”
She also noted that she wants another baby, but she has to consider how much time she has left in the business as well as her biology.
“I would love one, but I go like how much, I don’t know, how much longer do I have wrestling? How much longer? It’s… I get mad about it, you know. I get mad that I have to make this decision on my time. Biology.” [H/T Ringside News]
