Ex-WWE Figure Samantha Irvin Exposes Vile D*ath Threats After Ricochet Controversy
Ex-WWE figure Samantha Irvin and her husband, Ricochet, have been facing a lot of backlash from fans following a recent incident.
AEW star Ricochet defended his AEW National Championship against Jeff Perry at Revolution 2026 on March 16. He lost the match and, as a result, also lost his title. Following his loss, AEW posted a backstage video of the former champion, showing that he was frustrated.
Reacting to the video, a fan commented on Ricochet’s acting, saying that it hasn’t improved. He clapped back at the fan in an insensitive manner, mentioning her battle with multiple sclerosis, saying, “I’m glad you got MS.”
The comment immediately sparked widespread outrage across the wrestling community, and many people called the AEW star out for such unacceptable behavior. Fans pointed out that the remark was unnecessarily cruel and strongly condemned it online.
Hours later, after receiving heavy backlash, The Trendsetter deleted the tweet and issued a public apology. However, things haven’t seemed to cool down.

WWE veteran Jim Cornette also commented on the matter on his Drive-Thru podcast, stating that he did not feel Ricochet’s apology was genuine. Cornette claimed that the former AEW champion only put out the apology because someone suggested it, not because he truly meant it.
“It sounds to me like some adult in his periphery — whether it was professional or personal, his mother, his wife, his boss, whoever — went and said, ‘Dumb***, look what you’ve just said. What the f***? Look what you look like for saying what you’ve just said.’ Probably shamed him — shamed him, as Aunt Lola would say — into some form of realization that he had f***** up.”
“He has admitted that he actually, legitimately does get mad at each and every one of these instead of just, ‘block you, smartass…’ He’s legitimately mad and stirred up by these people, and that’s why he keeps jousting with them and putting his foot in his mouth.”
“The problem is that Ricochet sounds like he’s f****** 12… He can’t make the statement that ‘I’m trying to be a heel and draw money with my character’ because he sounds like he’s f****** 12 with some of this s***.”
“There’s no wit, there’s no professionalism. He’s just going at people… Either pick one and slice them to the bone and let it be an example… or just block them and move on. If you can’t fence… then he just sounds like an idiot with an issue.”
