WWE Raw: Adam Pearce Announces Key Matches & Appearances For San Antonio Show
On March 16, Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas, will host WWE Raw.
Taking to Instagram, the general manager of the red brand, Adam Pearce, revealed the line-up and appearances that fans can witness live on the road to WrestleMania 42.
Women’s Intercontinental Champion AJ Lee will defend her title against Bayley, who became the #1 Contender by winning a gauntlet match last week. In the closing minutes, The Role Model received help from Lyra Valkyria against Asuka after Kairi Sane tried to interfere in the match.
Bayley last challenged for the IC title at the Evolution PLE in a three-way match, which also included Valkyria and the then-champion Becky Lynch.
Stephanie Vaquer will continue her rivalry against The Judgment Day, this time taking on Raquel Rodriguez in a non-title match. Vaquer will face Liv Morgan at WrestleMania 42 while defending her WWE Women’s World Championship.
The show will also contain two grudge matches as El Grande Americano (Ludwig Kaiser) will take on the Original El Grande Americano (Chad Gable), and Maxxine Dupri will go one-on-one against Nattie.
Finally, Dominik Mysterio and The Judgment Day will address their attack on Finn Balor last week.
Brock Lesnar And Roman Reigns Advertised For WWE Raw
Adam Pearce also announced the presence of both Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns on the WWE taping in Texas.
A few weeks ago, Paul Heyman announced on Lesnar’s behalf an open challenge for any wrestler who would like to challenge The Beast Incarnate on the road to WrestleMania. It remains to be seen if any wrestler grabs the opportunity.
It is unclear whether Heyman will be present on the show. On March 2, he was taken out by Seth Rollins and later “kidnapped” by LA Knight, with his whereabouts unknown ever since.
Former Undisputed WWE Champion Roman Reigns will be on the show to possibly confront World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk after he referenced Reigns’ late father during their promo the last time they were in the ring together.
