WWE Plans For AJ Styles’ RAW Tribute Show Revealed
AJ Styles is yet to get a tribute show from WWE since his retirement at the Royal Rumble, and it has been announced for next week’s Raw.
AJ Styles wrestled his final ever match in WWE against Gunther and lost by passing out to The Ring General’s deadly sleeperhold.
The match stipulated that Styles would retire if he lost. Styles had planned his retirement for a while, as noted by some of his peers.
Styles completed a decade in the Stamford-based promotion, but his long and illustrious wrestling career began in 1998. He helped TNA become a major brand in wrestling and calls it “The house that AJ built”.
WWE To Pay Tribute To AJ Styles On Raw Next Week
Next week’s RAW is scheduled at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
As announced this past Monday, the show will feature a special tribute to The Phenomenal One.
Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer has reported that this tribute to Styles will feature talent from both Raw and SmackDown.
He posted on X saying:
Smackdown talent being flown to RAW this week for the AJ celebration.
Brock Lesnar is also set to make an appearance on Raw next week. The episode will also see the remaining two qualifying matches for both the men’s and women’s Elimination Chamber matches at the eponymous PLE on Feb 28th.
