WWE has landed a top free agent.

Following the news that Jacob Fatu has told those close to him that he’s signed with WWE, it seems the sports entertainment giant has landed another highly sought-after free agent.

At NXT Stand & Deliver, Giulia was introduced to the crowd after being shown watching the show with William Regal and Rossy Ogawa. The appearance came after months of speculation linking the star with a move to WWE, and according to a new report, a deal has been done.

As reported by Corey Brennan via Fightful Select, Giulia has agreed to join the company after fulfilling any commitments to Rossy Ogawa and his yet-to-be-launched promotion.

While no start date has been given, Giulia could start “at any time,” with the report noting she’s remained in the United States instead of returning to Japan with Ogawa.

The former STARDOM star was rushed to her seat under a cloak at Stand & Deliver and was “overwhelmed by the positive reaction” she got from the crowd. Giulia was also in attendance for WrestleMania 40, going backstage as well as watching the show in the crowd.

Interestingly, the report states that WWE offered more money than AEW to make sure they secured her signature. However, the author of that report has now claimed that this was an error and that AEW had made no offer to Giulia at all.

WWE Frustrated By Low Offer To Will Ospreay

The detail about Giulia’s financial package was especially notable as it was reported in March that some in WWE felt Triple H’s offer to Will Ospreay was “way too low.”

There’s also a belief that the company was unwilling to match the offers AEW made to Kazuchika Okada and Mercedes Mone while they were free agents.
