WWE Officially Makes 3 New Signings
WWE has been making many new signings recently, with CCO Triple H ushering in a ‘new era’ for the company.
WWE signed Powerhouse Hobbs from AEW as Royce Keys, and he made his debut at Royal Rumble 2026 with an impressive showing in the men’s match.
The company also signed Danhausen, an indie wrestler with a goth gimmick, who uses it to curse people and wish bad luck on them. He was revealed as the person inside a mystery crate that was opened at the Elimination PLE on Feb 28. They even resigned Matt Cardona (fka Zack Ryder) from the independent circuit this January.
Other than these major signings, WWE also moved Oba Femi, JeVon Evans, and Sol Ruca up to the main roster from NXT by introducing all of them in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, at the Royal Rumble Match this year.
WWE Signs Three New Stars For NXT
The company held tryouts ahead of SummerSlam 2025 and has now signed three names from it.
According to PWInsider, the three stars are Ahmed Essam, Delia Schweizer, and Ellen B. Akesson, and they’ll be joining the developmental brand NXT.
Ahmed Essam is an Egyptian amateur wrestler who claims to be a two-time African champion and two-time Arab wrestling champion. He has WWE on his Instagram profile.
Delia Schweizer is a German CrossFit athlete with a world ranking. She announced on Instagram that she moved to the United States three weeks ago.
Ellen B. Akesson, known as Ellen Viking, is a world champion in arm wrestling, a power lifter, and an online personality from Sweden. She has reportedly noted on Twitch in recent weeks that she had just moved to Florida, signalling a move to WWE that has its performance center in Orlando.
