Liv Morgan has given some insight into the production of her “Trouble” music video.

On the final Monday before WrestleMania 42 took place, WWE debuted the new Liv Morgan music video called “Trouble.” The song was performed by Morgan, which also included a full dance routine, and it became Morgan’s new theme song.

At WrestleMania 42, Morgan had perhaps the most iconic entrance of anybody in WWE when she did a dance routine as part of her entrance and had other dancers rip her clothes off to reveal her wrestling gear.

Liv Morgan would go on to beat Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Title at WrestleMania 42 to become a 3-time WWE Women’s Champion.

In an interview with Headliner Chicago, Liv Morgan discussed the process of creating a music video and the extent of her input.

“I loved it so much. It was all unknown for me, singing and dancing, those are not things I’m trained in or things I typically do professionally. For fun, yes, but professionally, no.

“WWE presented me with such a unique opportunity to go to a studio and record this new song written specifically just for me. Then we loved the song so much that they were like ‘Do you want to shoot a music video?’ I was like ‘Yes, of course!’

It turns out that Morgan had a lot of say in how things went in the “Trouble” video.

“They really kind of let me have the ball and creatively direct this music video so it could be exactly what I had envisioned. I really appreciate that creative freedom that they gave me.

“And then to perform it live at WrestleMania with my iconic Britney Spears inspired entrance, It was just so much fun and all new opportunities. I’m just grateful to have been able to play and explore and learn new things that I like to do.” (H/T Wrestletalk)

Liv Morgan Had Difficult Time Reacting To 2025 Injury

In the summer of 2025, Liv Morgan suffered a shoulder injury during a match, resulting in a lengthy absence. Morgan explained on Cody Rhodes’ podcast that it took her a while to process the injury.

“Look, honestly, the injury was very hard for me, like I took it really hard, I was very sad for a very long time. I’m like a…very much like, ‘everything happens for a reason’ type person, even if something happens that’s terrible.

I’m like so optimistically delusional that I’m like, ‘no, this happened for my greater good.’ And maybe I don’t see it now but I know this happened for my greater good. My injury, I was like, ‘no, this happened just to f**k me.’ I was like, ‘no, this is not, this is not good.”

As she continued, Morgan talked about missing other big WWE shows, like Evolution and SummerSlam.

“So, I couldn’t wrap my head around it and I couldn’t accept it because I didn’t see what good was going to come from this or why this happened.

I had to miss Evolution, I had to miss SummerSlam in my hometown. I didn’t what I was going to come back to as far as work, like I was going to be out for six months, like that is so unknown. I could come back and everything that I know could be different.

And so, I was just sad and I just really didn’t know what to believe in if I didn’t believe that I was going to be okay at the end of the day.”

The good news is that Morgan overcame those injuries, she returned to the ring, and she’s thriving again as one of WWE’s top female stars.
