WWE star Seth Rollins says he can never be like John Cena or Rey Mysterio.

Both WWE icons hold legendary babyface status. They have spent most of their WWE careers being the good guys. Cena has had two distinct heel runs in WWE.

He was a heel during his Doctor of Thuganomics era and the Hollywood alliance with The Rock era.

Rey Mysterio has never been a heel in WWE. Across nearly 25 years with the company, he has remained a pure babyface.

Seth Rollins is currently a babyface in his rivalry against Bron Breakker and The Vision.

Seth Rollins Likes Being A Heel In WWE

While speaking to ESPN’s Highlights with Omar in a recent interview, The Visionary stated that he prefers being the bad guy because he thinks he’s not very good at being the hero, like John Cena or Rey Mysterio.

Rollins added that he gets bored with his babyface character and so does the audience, so he likes being “a piece of trash,” i.e., a heel.

“The truth is, I’m not very good at being the hero. I can do it in short spurts but I’m not like John Cena, I’m not like Rey Mysterio. I get bored of myself and I think people get bored of me. I much prefer being a bad guy. I think it suits me better. Most of my favorite moments are being a piece of trash.”

Seth recently had a singles match against his rival, Bron Breakker, at Backlash, which he failed to win. The Vision has been playing the numbers game against him.

However, he has apparently found some folks to back him up against his rivals.

On the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, Montez Ford finally agreed to join hands with Seth Rollins after Austin Theory attacked Angelo Dawkins.

The Street Profits making an alliance with Seth Rollins in his rivalry against The Vision is surely going to help The Visionary very much.
