Jake Roberts is a big fan of Bron Breakker.

WWE Hall of Famer, Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts is no stranger to fellow Hall of Famer, Rick Steiner, who’s son happens to be the face of WWE’s developmental program, NXT 2.0.

On a recent episode of he and ‘Diamond’ Dallas Page’s ‘DDP Snake Pit‘ podcast, Roberts was oozing with praise following Breakker’s recent run in NXT:

“I was glad to see our buddy, the Steiner boy [Breakker]. Him and his tag team partner Tyler Bate they did some stuff. Really enjoyed seeing him,” Roberts added. “Bron Breakker, or Bronson or Steiner as I call him, because he is a Steiner, with his dad and his uncle. That kid’s got such natural skills. They’ve got some great talent down there in NXT.”

Breakker signed with WWE in February 2021 and immediately made an impact following his NXT debut on the September 14, 2021 episode of NXT, where he defeated the former LA Knight (now Max Dupri). Breakker would win the NXT Championship when he defeated Tommaso Ciampa on the January 4, 2022 at ‘New Year’s Evil’ but would drop the title to Dolph Ziggler in a triple threat match between the pair and the aforementioned Ciampa at NXT: Roadblock, this past March. However, Breakker would regain the title by defeated Ziggler on the April 4 edition of Monday Night RAW and has held the title ever since.

Breakker was confronted by JD McDonagh and former NXT UK Champion, Ilja Dragunov on the 9/20 episode of WWE NXT 2.0. TJR’s full report of this past Tuesday’s show can be found by clicking here.
