WWE GMs Set To Make Major Announcement On Raw

The WWE main roster General Managers are expected to make a major announcement on Raw.

WrestleMania 40 is set to place in less than one month on Saturday, April 6th and Sunday, April 7th at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadephia. Currently, there are some major title matches set for the show, but there are questions about the rest of the card.

One of the big matches coming up on the March 11th edition of WWE Raw is a six-man Gauntlet Match. That six-man Gauntlet Match will include Chad Gable, Bronson Reed and JD McDonagh, along with former Intercontinental Champions Ricochet, Shinsuke Nakamura and Sami Zayn.

Whoever wins that match will challenge GUNTHER for the Intercontinental Title at WrestleMania 40. It was a match announced by WWE Raw General Manager Adam Pearce on March 4th.

On the March 11th edition of Raw, Wrestlevotes reveals there will be some sort of announcement from Raw GM Adam Pearce and Smackdown GM Nick Aldis that likely has something to do with WrestleMania.

“I’m told to expect a dual announcement of sorts from Adam Pearce & Nick Aldis tonight on RAW. Assuming this has something to do with WrestleMania.”

There have been backstage segments involving Aldis and Pearce in recent weeks where they referenced some sort of Tag Team Title match at WrestleMania, but no specifics have been given. Their “dual announcement” could be something else entirely as well.

In a video posted to WWE’s social media, Adam Pearce confirmed a big announcement on Raw.

What Is Official For WWE WrestleMania 40 So Far?

Going into WrestleMania 40, there are five official matches including four title matches. The WrestleMania 40 Saturday main event was made official on the March 8th edition of WWE SmackDown when Cody Rhodes & Seth “Freakin” Rollins agreed to face The Rock & Roman Reigns in the “biggest tag team match ever.” The full lineup is below.

* The Rock & Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes & Seth “Freakin” Rollins (SATURDAY)

* WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Seth “Freakin” Rollins (c) vs. Drew McIntyre (SUNDAY)

* WWE Women’s Championship: IYO SKY (c) vs. Bayley
