WWE Couple The Miz & Maryse Were Almost Arrested In France
The Miz and Maryse are one of the most iconic couples in WWE.
They first met during the 2006 WWE Diva Search, where The Miz was the host of the competition. After Maryse was officially signed to WWE, they began dating roughly a year later.
After several years of dating, Miz proposed to Maryse in 2013. They got married on February 20, 2014, in a private ceremony at Blue Heaven Resort in the Bahamas.
They have two daughters, Monroe Sky, who was born in 2018, and Madison Jade, born in 2019. The real-life couple has also been involved in on-screen storylines with other couples. Their most famous rivalry was against John Cena and Nikki Bella, which led to a mixed tag team match at WrestleMania 33.
The Miz is still currently active in WWE, but Maryse hasn’t been seen on TV for a while. However, she remains very active on social media. She recently posted an old picture of herself with her husband from Paris, where they were posing in front of the Arc de Triomphe.
Maryse Opens Up About Nearly Getting Arrested with The Miz in Paris
Sharing the photo, Maryse revealed that it almost got both her and her husband arrested. She wrote:
“ The story behind this photo that I love so much!!! 😍
Almost got arrested in Paris for blocking traffic… but the Arc de Triomphe photo was worth the risk.
We ran across the street, stopped for two seconds, took one quick shot, and ran back before anyone could stop us. No retakes, just one take and somehow it worked.”
