WWE Changes Advertised SmackDown Match
With only a few weeks between now and WWE WrestleMania 42, every episode of weekly television would see the promotion make crucial steps on this Road to WrestleMania.
WWE travels to the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennslyvania tomorrow, and has already announced some blockbuster segments for the show. After the events of last week, Randy Orton is set to appear on the show and possibly explain his actions.
A couple of matches were announced on last week’s show as well, including the Bella Twins’ clash with Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss. However, the other match that was announced has been tweaked now.
Tiffany Stratton will be in action on WWE SmackDown
The Women’s United States Champion, Giulia, has been at odds with Tiffany Stratton over the last few weeks and the champ was set to defend her title against Tiffy on WWE SmackDown tomorrow.
While the two women will still meet each other in the ring tomorrow, WWE has quietly made it a non-title bout, without giving a reason for the change. The change in the match is sure to have an effect on the outcome as well.
It’s possible that the promotion made it a non-title match as they feel that the title match would be better served on a bigger stage than an episode of SmackDown, probably even WrestleMania 42.
