3-Time WWE Champion Accuses Triple H Of Burying Him

Triple H has been accused of several wrongdoings by many wrestlers during his active time as an in-ring competitor.

One of these things is burying a talent.

In the past, the likes of Chris Jericho, Scott Steiner, Rob Van Dam, CM Punk, etc., have been critical of the current WWE boss for altering storylines to favor him.

Ex-WWE Star Brings Up Triple H’s Burial Again

Maven Huffman, who has previously made similar claims, brought up the topic again, although not as a direct reference this time around.

During an appearance on the Road Trip AFTER HOURS podcast, a viewer asked about the ‘We Want Vince McMahon’ chants at Triple H at every premium live event.

To this, Maven stated that Hunter’s job in the WWE is not an easy one, and he can’t satisfy every fan’s demands.

It’s always revisionist history. We always look back on high school and think, “Ah! Those were the days,” where we completely forget about how we truly felt at that moment…but everybody wants what they once had. And it’s easy to point fingers. It’s easy to always say they’re doing something wrong.

I might disagree with some of the moves Hunter would make. I don’t sit in that chair. I don’t know how stressful it must be.

He then mentioned that Triple H had buried his character in the past.

Obviously, I have made no bones about it. I have made it very clear, and I got from firsthand knowledge of someone in that room that Hunter actively held me back, and whenever people would bring my name up, “Ah, he’s not ready.” “Let’s hold off.” And you know what? I’m beyond that. I can still look at Hunter when he does good and say, “Well done.” Look at him and say, “I might not have made that move,” but at the end of the day, I’m not sitting in that chair.
