Wrestling Legend’s Second Leg Amputated, WWE Covered Medical Expenses
A wrestling legend associated with WWE got his second leg amputated.
Konnan is a well-known name in the world of professional wrestling. He is a legend in the business and made a huge name for himself down in Mexico, where he was one of the biggest stars. Konnan has competed for some major wrestling promotions over the years.
Konnan has competed for WWE, ECW, WCW, and TNA Wrestling. He has had a legendary run as a competitor. He is currently working with The Undertaker in AAA, where he is a part of the creative team. The wrestling legend has suffered a major setback recently. Earlier this year, it was reported that Konnan was hospitalized in a “delicate state of health” and had his leg amputated. It looks like his health got worse from there.
During an episode of Behind The Turnbuckle Studios’ The Coach & Bro Show, Vince Russo revealed that Konnan had to have his second leg amputated, and WWE covered his medical expenses.
“I was smartened up about a week ago. I knew he had the one leg amputated and the second one was in question. That was the last time I talked to him, probably about two months ago. They had to remove the second one,” Russo said.
“So I called Konnan yesterday… Konnan said to me that the WWE has paid every single cent of his medical bills.” [H/T WrestlingNewsCo on X]
Vince Russo says he recently learned Konnan has had his second leg amputated, and that a recent call with him is when Konnan credited WWE with covering his bills.

Vince Russo believes WWE legend Mick Foley will step back into the ring in AEW
Mick Foley made his AEW debut at Double or Nothing 2026 and cut a promo in the ring. He was interrupted by MJF, who hit the Hardcore legend with a low blow before Darby Allin came out to make the save. Therefore, it looks like the Jacksonville-based promotion may be building to a feud between MJF and Mick Foley soon.
During a recent edition of Behind The Turnbuckle Studios’ The Coach and Bro Show, Vince Russo said that he’s sure that Mick Foley is going to step back in the ring. He also suggested that AEW put the WWE legend in the ring with somebody who will protect him, like MJF.
“He’s gonna do it. I mean, there’s no question in my mind he’s gonna do it, but obviously you need to put him in there with somebody who’s going to protect him. That’s why when you say it’s MJF, to me, that’s the best decision, and that’s the best choice, because you know the respect MJF will have for him. He will take care of him, and Mick Foley’s not gonna look bad, but I also don’t think, Coach, he’s gonna do anything stupid.”
It remains to be seen if Vince Russo’s prediction will come true.
