WrestleMania 40 Won’t Be The Rock’s Only WWE Match In 2024

The Rock will be sticking around in 2024.

According to a new report, The Rock won’t be “one and done” with WWE in 2024. The Hollywood megastar is expected to get back in the ring for the first time in over a decade at WrestleMania, but it seems that won’t be his only outing.

WWE is returning to Saudi Arabia on May 25th, and there’s been a push for The Rock to wrestle on the show. Much earlier in the creative process when Cody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns was penciled in for WrestleMania, there was a push from some for Reigns to face The Great One in Saudi.

Writing in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer noted there’s a belief that Rock will wrestle again outside of WrestleMania, potentially on one of two Saudi Arabian shows.

“When asking if Rock will be working that show, we’re told there are a lot of variables in play and a variety of factors but obviously the company would like it if he would. But while nothing is set in stone, the belief as of right now is that Mania won’t be his only match in 2024 and there is definitely a push to get him to work at least one Saudi Arabia event this year.”

Seth Rollins And Cody Rhodes To Address The Rock

On the March 1st episode of SmackDown, The Rock proposed a huge WrestleMania tag team match involving himself and Roman Reigns taking on Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes. A match that would have huge implications for Rhodes’ clash with Reigns on the second night of the spectacular.

Rollins and Rhodes are heading to SmackDown on March 8th to address the challenge.
