What Seth Rollins Really Feels About Facing Gunther At WWE WrestleMania 42

Seth Rollins is going to face Gunther at WrestleMania 42.

The Visionary was supposed to face Bron Breakker at The Grandest Stage of All, but unfortunately, a sports hernia injury took Breakker off WWE TV.

Once Rollins returned to WWE TV, speculations claimed he could face Logan Paul at WrestleMania 42. However, the global juggernaut has booked Seth Rollins vs. Gunther for the show.

Seth Rollins opens up about Gunther ahead of WrestleMania 42

While speaking on the Rich Eisen Show, The Visionary drew similarities between Gunther and his WWE career, claiming no one expected two guys who came from nothing to make it big in the industry.

The former World Heavyweight Champion further explained that this would be their first real go at it, and going against Gunther in his first match back will be an interesting test.

He’s the real deal that guy, like there’s no joke there, he’s legitimate, you watch his body of work. This is a guy I’ve known since he was WALTER in his wXw days in Germany, I crossed paths with him.

He’s one of those guys that, we have something very similar in that we came from kind of nowhere, no-one really thought we were gonna be huge major stars in the industry when we were young cats, and now we’re at a point where here we are at WrestleMania, the Grandest Stage, two of the most renowned in-ring performers the last two decades.

This will be our first real go at it. We’ve had one in-ring encounter, which was like seven years ago, and this will be an interesting test, especially for my first match back.

WWE pivoted to Gunther vs. Seth Rollins by having The Ring General take out The Visionary during a segment. Rollins was about to attack Paul Heyman once again when Gunther appeared ringside and laid out Rollins.
