Becky Lynch Gives Update On Shoulder Injury

Becky Lynch injured

Becky Lynch has given fans a positive update on her recovery from the shoulder injury she suffered at SummerSlam.

In the opening match at SummerSlam, Becky Lynch challenged Bianca Belair for the Raw Women’s Championship. Belair was looking for redemption after The Man defeated her at the same event last year in just 26 seconds.

During the bout, Lynch seemed to be favouring her shoulder, although at the time it was unclear whether the injury was legitimate or just part of the show. After the match, doctors were seen checking on Lynch as she left the ringside area, while her shoulder was bruised.

In the end, Belair was able to retain her title and, in a show of mutual respect, the pair embraced before the champion was confronted by a returning Bayley along with Dakota Kai and IYO SKY.

It was later reported that Becky Lynch suffered a separated shoulder during the match and may require surgery. Lynch confirmed the injury on the following Raw before being assaulted backstage. The star has been missing in action since the event.

Becky Lynch recently appeared on Instagram alongside The Rock, Brian Gewirtz, and her husband Seth Rollins. During their conversation, The Rock asked how she was doing and Lynch gave a positive update.

“Oh good, yeah yeah yeah. I feel like I’ve gotten a bunch more mobility in it, because when it happened, it was so painful that I was like ‘Oh no, I’m gonna be out for a long long time. And now it’s healing up real quick, I’m feeling strong, I’m feeling good, so I’m hoping it won’t be much time at all.”

During the appearance, Lynch also revealed that she is writing a book and hopes to have it finished in the next couple of months.
