Unfortunate Update On Brock Lesnar’s WWE WrestleMania Plans

TJR Wrestling

As advertised, Brock Lesnar made an appearance on Raw in Atlanta on Monday.

Many fans believed that his segment was underwhelming as it did not reveal any definite plans, especially in relation to WrestleMania 42.

Lesnar did not even utter a single sentence during the segment, instead leaving the talking to his advocate, Paul Heyman.

Heyman said that since The Beast Incarnate beat The Undertaker at WrestleMania, he was not taking his spot as the must-see superstar on the show.

He then revealed the various dates that Brock Lesnar has advertised appearances on the road to WrestleMania. Heyman said that any wrestler could show up on one of those dates and challenge Lesnar, thus indicating the commencement of an open challenge.

WWE Has No Confirmed Creative Plans For Brock Lesnar At WrestleMania

On a recent session of WrestleVotes Radio, Joey Votes highlighted the possible struggles WWE might be dealing with booking Brock Lesnar’s match at WrestleMania.

Basically it was Paul Heyman promising destruction for whoever wants it come WrestleMania. This just feels like they have no idea what to do with Brock Lesnar at this point. Card continues to shuffle, as everybody’s well aware. Maybe the Brock Lesnar decision has yet to become official, set in stone, however you want to put it creatively. So they knew he was going to be in Atlanta and they said, well, go out there and just issue an open challenge for WrestleMania.

Another host, TC, said that with only a few weeks left for the Show of Shows, WWE might have missed the window to build Lesnar a meaningful feud.

I was really looking forward to what was going to be, hopefully the kickoff to Brock Lesnar’s program leading into WrestleMania.

If they’re going to do that six more times from WrestleMania, that is beyond lazy, that you’re going to have an open challenge and we have to wait till WrestleMania to see who’s going to then grow the balls to take on Brock Lesnar.

Joey Votes agreed, urging WWE to finalize a feud soon.

I think Brock should be in a proper program. So start to build that as soon as possible. Make the decision. Whoever it is, whoever it is, make the decision. [H/T: Ringside News]
