Ex-WWE Star Shockingly Accepts Brock Lesnar’s WrestleMania Open Challenge

Brock Lesnar WWE

Brock Lesnar made his return to WWE Raw on the February 23 episode in Atlanta, Georgia. This marked Lesnar’s first televised appearance since the Royal Rumble in January 2026.

Lesnar was accompanied by his longtime advocate, Paul Heyman, who issued a massive WrestleMania Open Challenge on Lesnar’s behalf.

With no current rivalry in place and Lesnar confirmed to compete at WrestleMania, Heyman declared that anyone brave enough could step up and face The Beast on the grandest stage of them all. Heyman went as far as to claim that no one in the locker room was “man enough” to answer the challenge.

It was also announced that Lesnar will appear on the final five episodes of Raw leading into WrestleMania, spanning from March 16 through April 13.

61-Year-Old Legend Big Vito Accepts Brock Lesnar’s Challenge

Following Brock Lesnar’s announcement on Raw, former WWE and WCW star Big Vito took to social media to accept Lesnar’s WrestleMania 42 open challenge.

Big Vito tweeted, “Here it goes . Open Challenge ? Representing the Luciano Family and all of @jcwlunacy I Challenge @BrockLesnar with his Advocate @HeymanHustle at Wrestlemania. @WWE you listening. You think your the Best Heel in this Business , Think again. Open the door Brock.”

At 61 years old, Big Vito remains active in the wrestling scene. He joined JCW as an investor in November 2025 and currently works under former WWE head writer Vince Russo.

It is unlikely that Big Vito will face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 42. According to recent rumors, either LA Knight or Oba Femi is currently in talks to be Brock Lesnar’s WrestleMania opponent this year.
