Unexpected Number One Contenders Shake Up WWE Women’s Tag Division
The WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship is on the line tomorrow at Saturday Night’s Main Event, where the current champions, Rhiyo, will take on The Judgment Day’s Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez.
Morgan and Perez earned the shot at the titles by defeating the Kabuki Warriors and the team of Lyra Vakyria and Bayley in a triple threat match for the number one contender’s spot on RAW a couple of weeks back.
Whoever comes out on top tomorrow will have their work cut out for them, as another number one contender’s match was held on Friday Night SmackDown tonight.
Giulia and Kiana James become number one contenders on WWE SmackDown
The penultimate match of the night saw the teams of Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, Nia Jax and Lash Legend, and Kiana James and the Women’s United States Champion, Giulia, compete to be next in line for a shot at the tag team belts.
Bliss and Flair took everyone by surprise to kick off the match and dominated the early stages as Bliss took out all four members of the opposition with a diving crossbody to the ringside.

However, post the commercial break, it was the heels that took control of the match as Nia Jax dominated the field. Bliss tried to regain control and did so to turn the tide in her favor, but was overpowered by Lash Legend.
Legend hit Bliss with a Lash Extension, but before she could head for a pin, she was taken out by Charlotte Flair with a spear, following which Kiana James sneaked up behind them and picked up the win for her team.
