Uncle Howdy Wins The War On WWE SmackDown, But Loses The Battle
The WWE Tag Team Champions kicked off the first match of the night on Friday Night SmackDown as The MFTs continued their heated rivalry with The Wyatt Sicks.
Solo Sikoa and Talla Tonga took on the duo of Erick Rowan and Uncle Howdy, as their rivalry has now continued for the last few months after Sikoa’s group took everything away from the Wyatt Sicks.
They initially defeated them for the WWE Tag Team Championships before stealing Bray Wyatt’s lantern from the group, increasing the animosity between these two factions.

The non-title match between these two groups saw the MFT take control for the first half of the match as Talla Tonga dominated Uncle Howdy, both in and outside the ring.
The match turned in the Sicks’ favor as Rowan neutralized Talla before the two giants took each other out on ringside, leaving Sikoa and Howdy in the ring alone.
Chaos then erupted as the rest of the Wyatts stated brawling with MFTs, but were taken out by Samoan Spikes from Solo. He was about to go for a pin on Uncle Howdy before Nikki Cross took the lantern back, allowing Uncle Howdy to hit the Sister Abigail on him.
Uncle Howdy was celebrating his win after seemingly finally reclaiming the lantern once again, but Tama Tonga hit him with a Cutthroat from behind and recaptured their lantern, leaving him knocked out in the ring.
