Truth Behind The Rock’s Daughter’s WWE Exit Potentially Revealed

The Rock’s daughter, Ava, quit the company. 

Recently, reports clarified that Ava did not renew her contract with WWE NXT and is no longer a part of the global juggernaut. She had emerged as the youngest General Manager in the company’s history when she stepped into the role of NXT’s GM.

She announced her departure on social media.

This past Tuesday was my last appearance on NXT & subsequently WWE. Thank you to all who have cheered, watched, and supported me through my journey. While my decision to not renew my contract was very difficult, it’s also new turning point in my life. It has been an honor & privilege to be Ava.

The Rock’s daughter reportedly quit WWE over pay issues

Bryan Alvarez from Wrestling Observer reported Live that she wasn’t receiving a big pay rise upon renewing her contract, and chose not to renew it at all. However, it has been pointed out that recently, The Rock’s extensions in WWE, such as Roman Reigns and Ava, have had strong opinions about WWE’s leadership.

I heard about Ava, and what I was told is that one of the big reasons she did not renew her contract was very similar to what happened with Jazmyn Nyx. She was making a certain amount of money, she had been there for a long time, and they weren’t offering her a big raise. She didn’t want to keep doing it for the money she was making. This has happened in NXT with people.

However, a few days earlier, Dave Meltzer had reported that this was a choice Ava was making.

I’ve talked to and heard from several people and the general thing was is just she didn’t want to do it anymore. There was no compelling reason. It was her decision, it’s not like they were going to get rid of her or anything like that.
