Why 2-Time WWE Champion Is “Disgusted” By Trish Stratus

A former WWE rival of Trish Stratus has commented on the Canadian legend’s recent performances in the ring.

It was 25 years ago in the Attitude Era when Trish Stratus and Lita debuted in WWE as women around whom the company would build the Divas division. In addition to them, there were others, including Victoria, who became a rival of Stratus.

While Stratus became popular as a babyface, Victoria was an excellent heel who was known for being a bit crazy and willing to do whatever it took to win matches.

During her career, Victoria was a 2-time WWE Women’s Champion, and she’s also a 5-time TNA Knockouts Champion. She should be in the WWE Hall of Fame, and hopefully, she will be one day.

Trish Stratus is a 7-time WWE Women’s Champion who was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013. Even though Trish retired as a full-timer in September 2006, the mother of two has returned to the ring many times over the last 20 years.

Most recently, Trish was back in the ring at WWE Evolution when she took the WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton to her limit as Stratton found a way to keep her title.

In an interview with WrestlingNewsCo, Victoria (whose real name is Lisa Marie Varon) commented on Stratus getting back into the ring and had some funny remarks that may appear to look like insults, but they are in jest and complimenting how great Stratus looks.

“Trish, Jesus. I mean, God, this girl is a robot. I swear she’s not human. I can’t believe how she goes at the age. And it’s so refreshing because you’re like, she’s representing our age well, you know what I mean?

And, every time I see her on TV, I go, ‘I need, to put those DVDs from her yoga,’ you know, and start doing that more often. But you know, me, once I pour the wine, I sit in bed. I’m like, ‘Okay, what’s on TV?’”

The playful comments from Victoria continued when the interview host, So Cal Val, remarked that it’s “actually insulting” that Trish is still in the best shape ever at 49 years old.

“It’s disgusting. It makes me throw up. I was like, ‘How the hell? Are you kidding me?’”

Trish Stratus and Victoria remain friends to this day, with Stratus saying many times in the past that she wants to see Victoria in the WWE Hall of Fame one day soon.
