WWE CCO Triple H hasn’t had the greatest run creatively of late and has faced constant backlash.

Things have been lopsided in WWE’s creative behind the scenes, with the company struggling to finalize storylines and matches with only weeks left for WrestleMania 42.

Although the main events are now in place, this is unprecedented, as WrestleMania matches are usually planned and locked in well in advance every season, and it was left very late this year.

The creative team has faced several issues with many major stars suffering injuries with indefinite return dates, making it hard to stick to plans and instead pivot as per new updates.

Injuries aside, fans and critics still blame Triple H and his creative team for not producing compelling weekly television, which has also seemingly led to lower ticket sales for WrestleMania 42, with the average ticket price significantly higher than that of last year’s event at the same venue, also a possible factor.

To make matters worse, co-lead writer of SmackDown and WWE legend Brian “Road Dogg” James recently departed the company, and there has been creative restructuring happening.

One such critic who has never held back his punches about The Game is former WWE writer Vince Russo.

Vince Russo Stands By His Words That Triple H Will Be Out Of WWE By The End Of 2026

On Coach & Bro, Johnathan Coachman and Vince Russo read a fan email that called out Triple H’s booking, saying that he could be fired before WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia next year, bluntly pointing out that creative hasn’t been good.

Coach reiterated that Russo has stuck to his idea that Triple H will be gone by the end of 2026 from his creative role.

Coach: Well, guys, Vince has stood pat that by the end of 2026 was your timeline (for Triple H leaving WWE). Do you still stand on that?

Russo: I still do. I still do, yes. (1:21:23 onwards)

The pair then discussed that it would be difficult for The Game to continue with the current run of form for the next seven PLEs to see out the year, with pressure seemingly mounting from ESPN for ratings.
