Should Triple H Be Blamed For TKO/WWE’s Alleged Greed?

Triple H WWE

Critics and fans are weighing in on TKO’s recent moves, which are putting them and WWE CCO TripleH in a bad light.

It has been reported that TKO is not allowing WrestleMania 42 to be broadcast in pubs and other public places for watchalongs within a 50-mile radius of the event’s venue in Las Vegas, allegedly to ramp up poor ticket sales.

This move is a blow to the city’s tourism, as it gets many tourists during WrestleMania season. Locals will also have to buy tickets to the show, with no alternative to watch it in their area.

YouTube wrestling analyst James Romero observes that with the political climate already affecting tourism in the United States, pubs, restaurants, and casinos in Vegas have had to hike their rates to cover losses. This, combined with TKO’s move, is doing Vegas no favours.

Seven Richards And James Romero Discuss Triple H’s Role In TKO’s Alleged Greed

Appearing on The Steven Richards Show, James Romero asks the former WWE star if he thinks Triple H needs to take the blame for delivering what most people feel is a substandard product, which is causing ratings and ticket sales to plummet.

Richards says that Triple H would be a scapegoat, but can’t be blamed entirely for the WWE owners’ financial decisions.

We don’t know if people are coming down and saying, “this is what we want, this is what we don’t want” and Hunter is the scapegoat.

But I wouldn’t blame Hunter on the greed finacially of the company.
