Surprising Triple H Move “Bothered” Former WWE Star
Triple H’s decision “bothered” a former WWE star.
Karrion Kross wrestled for the WWE for several years. He got his start in NXT, where he dominated as the brand’s top champion. However, after moving to the main roster, his booking took a major hit. He was no longer the dominant force he was in NXT.
As a result, he was let go by the Stamford-based promotion before Triple H brought him back when he took over creative control of the company. However, his booking failed to change. Despite being over with the fans, he was never booked in a prominent spot and spent most of his time either in backstage segments or in the ring getting pinned. After consecutive bad booking decisions, Karrion Kross left the WWE along with his wife, Scarlett Bordeaux. Since his WWE departure, Karrion Kross has been working on the independent scene.
Karrion Kross says Triple H never got in touch with him after his WWE exit
During a recent appearance on the Ariel Helwani Show, Karrion Kross was asked if Triple H got in touch with him after his WWE exit. The former WWE star said that The Game never reached out to him, and it bothered him, but he is also aware that there may be things happening behind the scenes that prevent Triple H from speaking to the talent.
“It did [bother me], but I try to tell myself that there are things going on that are so strange that might not occur to you—that perhaps he is no longer in a position to speak to the talent anymore once they exit, because I’m not an isolated situation.”
Karrion Kross further added that he is not trying to throw shade at his former boss. He explained that Triple H has a whole hierarchy of things that he needs to answer to, and he could’ve been told not to contact the talent after they left the company.
“And it’s not at all to throw shade at him at all, but I don’t think anyone understands the nature of his position. I think everyone just thinks he’s just the boss and there is nothing attached to that. I think there’s a whole new hierarchy of things above him that he has to answer to, and perhaps he’s even told not to contact the talent afterwards—maybe. It’s all a lot of maybes, right? But it did bother me. I will tell you it bothered me very, very much.”
It remains to be seen if Karrion Kross will ever make his return to WWE again.
