Triple H’s Inspirational Message Ahead Of WWE Clash In Italy

Triple H has made some interesting remarks ahead of the historic WWE Clash in Italy PLE.

There have been numerous WWE events in Italy, including live events and even television tapings, but there’s never been a Premium Live Event in Italy until now.

On Sunday, May 31st, WWE will present Clash in Italy with the following card featuring four huge title matches and a massive WrestleMania rematch.

* Tribal Combat Match for the World Heavyweight Championship: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Jacob Fatu
* Undisputed WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Gunther
* WWE Women’s Championship: Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Jade Cargill
* Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar
* Women’s Intercontinental Championship: Becky Lynch (c) vs. Sol Ruca

In a video posted on social media, WWE’s Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque, who is a 2-time WWE Hall of Famer, delivered this message to the fans.

“We’re a few days out from Turin, and if I can give one message to the fans, believe me, this will mean as much to us and the WWE superstars as it does to each and every one of you. We cannot wait to get there.

One of the great things about being a WWE superstar is that global nature of what we do. The ability to go to countries where they maybe don’t speak the same language, maybe the culture is completely different to ours. It really points out the similarities, as opposed to the differences, between us all.

I’ve heard people say before that music is the universal language, but I think maybe WWE is the universal action genre; it connects with everybody, it’s simple to understand. It’s not country-versus-country, it’s an escape. It’s larger than life superheroes solving their conflicts in our ring. There’s a universal language to that.”

Before they get to Turin on Sunday, Triple H and the WWE crew will present a 3-hour SmackDown from Barcelona, Spain, on May 29th.

Triple H Doesn’t Want Cody Rhodes Worrying About Critics

During Triple H’s run as WWE’s Chief Content Officer (aka booker of the main roster), Cody Rhodes has been one of the top stars in the promotion with three WWE Title reigns and WrestleMania main events for four straight years.

When Triple H was a guest on Cody’s podcast, he wasn’t shy about praising his top star.

“And I know we touched on it briefly, but the position that you’re in was not easy. And people will tell you s*** your whole career—‘nepo baby,’ or whatever. F*** them.

You earned this, and then some. You are one of the most diligent guys in the locker room—wanting it to be right, with no stone unturned. You think about it nonstop. You’re so engaged in that, and it’s never really just about you—it’s about the company and the product as a whole, which makes you a dream to work with.”

The praise continued as Triple H made sure Cody knew his legendary father, the late, great WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes, would be proud of his son.

“I don’t want to sound like I’m talking down to you, but I’m proud of you for gambling on yourself, taking that step that 99.9% of people wouldn’t do to get to where you are—and doing it in a way that every single step of the way you did it the right way, in a way that would make anybody, especially your dad, proud.”
