Triple H Declares He’s Back

Triple H fires Vince McMahon

Triple H could be on his way back to a senior role in WWE as the saga surrounding an investigation into Vince McMahon rumbles on.

Following heart surgery in September 2021, Triple H was forced to take a step back from the extreme stress of his executive role in WWE. Since then many have wondered what the wrestling icon’s future in the company would be after NXT was revamped in his absence and many of his long-time team including William Regal and Road Dogg were released by WWE in early 2022.

However, WWE could be on the precipice of major change after the Board of Directors launched an investigation into Vince McMahon amid claims of ‘hush money’ payment to former employees that accused him and Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis of misconduct.

McMahon has been replaced in his roles as company Chairman and CEO on an interim basis by his daughter Stephanie McMahon while Laurinaitis has been placed on leave with his duties falling in the lap of Bruce Prichard.

Now POST Wrestling’s John Pollock has reported the latest twist in the tail of this saga with Triple H said to have been at the WWE Performance Center, telling staff there that he’s back:

“According to multiple sources, Paul Levesque was in Orlando today and spoke at the Performance Center. Of the people I heard from, Levesque stated “he’s back” – it is unknown what that entails but that was the wording I was given.”
