Triple H Considering Character Change For Beloved WWE RAW Star
According to recent reports, Triple H will soon give a new character persona to a beloved WWE Raw star. The star in question is Lyra Valkyria.
Valkyria made her main roster debut in April 2024 and quickly climbed up the women’s division, reaching the finals of the Queen of the Ring tournament and defeating top stars such as Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai.
In January 2025, she made history by defeating Kai to become the first-ever WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion. She reached another milestone in her WWE career when she won the Women’s Tag Team Championship alongside the returning Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 41, holding two titles simultaneously.
However, shortly afterward, Lynch and Valkyria lost the Women’s Tag Team titles to Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez on the Raw after WrestleMania 41. This led to Becky Lynch turning heel on Lyra, sparking a rivalry between the two.
While the storyline was entertaining, many fans felt it forced Lyra into a victim role, which took the edge off her personality. Months after losing her Intercontinental Championship to Lynch at Money in the Bank in June 2025, Valkyria was shifted into a tag team storyline with Bayley.
The angle started strong, with Bayley being portrayed as having a split personality, but it ultimately failed to maintain fan interest. Lately, Lyra Valkyria’s momentum has gone completely off the rails.
WWE Planning To Make Lyra Valkyria “More Aggressive”
According to a new report from Bodyslam.net, WWE is now looking to push her back into the spotlight. The report states that, following internal discussions, Triple H is planning to change Valkyria’s on-screen character and make her more aggressive.
This new persona will reportedly be rooted in her growing frustration over being consistently overlooked. As of now, there is no timeline for when WWE may implement this change, but the hope is that it happens sooner rather than later.
