The Women’s Royal Rumble match in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, got a first-time winner.

30 female stars competed against each other in an over-the-top rope elimination match for the chance to earn a title shot at WWE WrestleMania 42.

The likes of Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, Rhea Ripley, Iyo Sky, Nia Jax, Liv Morgan, and many more participated in it. The match also saw the return of Tiffany Stratton, who had been away from action since November.

However, the superstar who got the biggest pop was WWE Hall of Famer Brie Bella, who returned for the first time since last competing at the 2022 Royal Rumble.

Morgan, Stratton, Raquel Rodriguez, and Sol Ruca were the final four competitors. Morgan dumped her Judgment Day stablemate, Raquel, as soon as ‘Big Sexy’ got rid of Rhea Ripley.

The three remaining women were then stuck fighting on the ring apron, which is a very risky spot. After Stratton eliminated Ruca, Liv Morgan hit her with an Oblivion for the victory. It was the 31-year-old’s first Royal Rumble win in 9 appearances.

WWE Personality Miffed By Kit Wilson’s Absence At Royal Rumble

Over the last few weeks, Kit Wilson has managed to turn the fans’ feelings towards him around by debuting a new gimmick, a new entrance theme, and a titantron.

His gimmick is that of an individual who advocates anti-toxic masculinity, calling out his peers in his promos. He recently attacked Matt Cardona after Cardona’s loss to Trick Williams on WWE SmackDown.

The men’s Royal Rumble match also witnessed surprise entrants along with the advertised ones. One name missing from it was Kit Wilson’s.

Speaking on his Notsam Wrestling podcast, host Sam Roberts called out Triple H for excluding one of the most over superstars in the company today from the Royal Rumble.

I was very bummed out that we didn’t get Kit Wilson. I think that was a miss. I think the two biggest misses were Brock getting eliminated during Jey’s entrance. That was the biggest miss. And I think no Kit Wilson was a miss. [17:16 onwards]
