Triple H Called A Jacka**; Retired WWE Legend “100%” Agrees
One legend still hasn’t forgiven WWE and Triple H.
Goldberg competed in his final match inside a WWE ring at Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 12, 2025. He faced Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship, but failed to dethrone The Ring General for the gold.
Post-match, Goldberg gave a heartfelt retirement speech; however, it got cut from the live broadcast. While WWE did upload the full segment on its YouTube channel, the damage was already done.
Da Man expressed his disappointment with the whole situation, just days after his swansong match.
WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg takes a shot at Triple H
During a meet-and-greet, Goldberg was asked about his retirement speech debacle, and the WWE legend responded in his own unique way. Da Man also added that he felt disrespected by how things unfolded that night.
“Yeah! What do you think it did for me? It made me really happy. It shows a lot of disrespect.”
Upon being asked if Triple H was responsible for the controversial incident, Goldberg said, “Probably.” That’s not where things ended, as when the fan called The Game a “jacka**,” Goldberg agreed with him “100%!”

It will be interesting to see if the Stamford-based promotion and Triple H bring back Goldberg for an appearance or two following the latter’s scathing remarks.
