Triple H Might Be Approaching Breaking Point In WWE Career
Things are looking bad for Triple H.
WWE is reportedly facing a major slump in advance ticket sales, with WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas being the most affected. Current reports suggest ticket distribution is down by around 18 percent compared to the same period last year.
In response, TKO Group Holdings has introduced a controversial media blackout for WrestleMania 42, banning commercial venues within a 50-mile radius of Allegiant Stadium from broadcasting the event.
This restriction prevents local bars, restaurants, casinos, and sportsbooks from hosting traditional watch parties even if they are willing to pay the usual licensing fees. The move has drawn criticism, as it cuts off secondary revenue streams for local businesses and impacts wrestlers who had already agreed to host paid viewing events.
WWE Slump Could Cause Big Problems For Triple H
Many see the blackout as a desperate attempt to push fans toward purchasing stadium tickets, especially amid growing concerns over pricing. Speaking on The Coach and Bro Show, WWE veteran Tommy Carlucci claimed that these struggles have pushed Triple H to a breaking point, with internal pressure mounting as WrestleMania 42 approaches.
This could be a breaking point in Triple H’s career. And you’re right. I don’t think Ari or Shapiro care about the fans or anything else, or how they do business, as long as they think they’re going to keep making money. But if everybody stays home, coach, everybody loses. Everybody loses. (From 33:03)
