Triple H Believes Major International City Could Host WWE WrestleMania

Triple H thinks that WrestleMania could go international.

Before the WWE Elimination Chamber PLE at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, the last time the stadium formerly known as SkyDome hosted a WWE show was at WrestleMania 18 in 2022. It was the second WrestleMania that Toronto has hosted since they also played host to WrestleMania 6 in 1990.

While WWE goes to Toronto often for television shows, PLEs (like Money in the Bank 2024) and live events, they normally go to one of the two arenas in the city.

The Elimination Chamber PLE was praised by many as an excellent show with great matches. It also had a memorable ending as John Cena turned heel on WWE Champion Cody Rhodes as Cena aligned with “The Final Boss” aka The Rock.

At Elimination Chamber, there were over 35,000 fans in Toronto as WWE chose to open up most of the stadium, but not all of it. If they opened more seats up then they could hold over 50,000 fans in the stadium.

Paul “Triple H” Levesque is WWE’s Chief Content Officer who talked to the media at a post-Elimination Chamber press conference. Hunter was asked if Toronto could host WrestleMania again.

“All markets are. That is a different animal now that includes a bidding process and everything that goes into it because it is such a massive business. Hundreds of millions of dollars get poured into the city that brings WrestleMania. The economic impact that we have going into a city with something the scale of WrestleMania is incredible.

Any place that has a vibrant fanbase and has a building like the Rogers Center that we can go into and pack it with a lot of people and get them there from all over the globe, it’s definitely on the list.”

Based on Triple H’s comments, it sounds like Toronto could be a WrestleMania together if they put together a bid to host the show.

Triple H Feels Liv Morgan Has Become A WWE Megastar

The opening match at Elimination Chamber saw Bianca Belair win the Women’s Chamber match over five other women, including the runner-up Liv Morgan, who is a Women’s Tag Team Champion. Morgan has been all around the WWE Women’s World Title picture over the last year and had the best run of her career during a lengthy feud with Rhea Ripley.

At the post-Elimination Chamber press conference, Triple H praised Morgan for becoming a WWE Megastar.

“Liv Morgan just continues to impress me. A woman that, a year ago, many people would have said, ‘She’s great to have on the roster and she’s a good hand.’ Since May, she’s become a megastar and continues to surpass that, to me.

She stood out tonight as a star in the spotlight and thriving. Even when she’s in pain, she looks like she is having the greatest time of her life doing it, and the little nuances that she is picking up now, she has earned that spot at the top and earned that spot to be called one of the best women in the ring we have right now. Incredibly proud of her.”
